Letters #3
Mizuki my love,
Guess my flair for the dramatic finally paid off; your letter was a glitch in my mundane routine! To think that you found me amongst the trash of corpo greed — I must be doing something right, especially since you have noticed my heroic nature! I’ll be sure to flex for your amazement!
I fear that our A.I. Generals have abandoned us. The sky is a constant hum of drone engines buzzing like the incessant insects they are. I dream of returning to our modest home where I much prefer the sounds of the static crackle coming off the cyberwires glowing their fluorescent neon outside our bedroom window. While you play with my hair, and I toss the sashimi plushie for Sushi.
I can easily picture Sushi waiting by the door, he does that when you are away as well. He is only truly happy when both of his moms are home. Be sure to give him plenty of love and scratches for me. And please send me pictures, so I can add our sweet boy to the ever growing photos of you to my gen 7 holo display.
Please be careful in the horrid battlefield you call a restaurant. All those chefs running around with sharp knives and pans of scalding foods. Leaves my fragile heart palpitating. Thankfully the cyberwear that was installed as part of my military contract will keep it beating.
With love
Sammy
